I created KSmithson Photography over 10 years ago with the mission to create timeless photos that capture raw emotion. Since then, I‘ve shot over 300 weddings! I love making connections with people and pushing my knowledge of photography so I can continue to grow and create creative, one-of-a-kind images that you and your partner will cherish forever.
When I’m not shooting weddings you can find me at the local dog shelter volunteering (so I can be around ALL the dogs) or sinking my toes in sand by an ocean.
Hello! I’m Kass, your second lead shooter- the one behind the zoom lens. I love capturing the millions of small moments that happen during the day. Those moments that often slip by without noticing- those ones that want to be loved, but don’t ask for it. I love using my time to focus on the other half of the equation and the special way the guests love the couple.
A little bit about me- I come from a small town in Florida called Niceville. Cliche sounding, I know, but true. Living in a small town made me crave to see the world -things dangerous to come to – and to feel, life. So, that’s just what I did. For 4 years I lived in a self-converted Fire Rescue truck named Samson traveling all of America. You can catch me chasing the light, the cold, and the best hikes in the country.
